Open Source Photo Library

The Open Photo Project is a photo sharing platform created in 1998 by Michael Jastremski.

Contributors have offered their images free of charge under terms of Creative Commons licensing.

I recently joined the team as Lead Developer, primarily taking charge of redesigning the UI/UX for the site.

First, I moved all of the project content into GitHub for easier collaboration, as well as deployment between test machines and production. Currently we are doing a simple fix of some of the basic layout issues, and ensure that it validates to HTML5.

Next up is a custom WordPress plugin that will allow users to search and insert images from into their own sites!
